Hardware

The Compute Module 3+ contains the guts of a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+:

  • Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.2GHz processor
  • 1GB LPDDR2 SDRAM RAM
  • 8/16/32GB eMMC Flash memory which is the equivalent of the SD card in the Pi, or a SD card interface.

Connector:

A standard DDR2 SODIMM connector

All remaining processor interfaces are available to the user via the connector pins, so many more GPIOs and interfaces are available compared to the Raspberry Pi 3+.
